Stand Clear of the Closing Doors 2013

Stand Clear of the Closing Doors 2013, or SCOTCD2013 for short, is a documentary based out of the boroughs of New York City. Creator and Producer, Andrea Santana from the Bronx, awoke from a dream and knew it was fate. Ever since, she has been working with a team of 20 talented poets and performers to stitch together a story laced through their poetry. Santana follows these poets along the train lines of NYC to catch the essence of their poetry and their individual borough.The film is currently in the beginning stages of editing and will be released some time in the fall. But if you happened to see a poet being filmed along the subway, you could have been witnessing history in the making.
